White and Ivory

Todd's dad is coming to visit for the 4th of July and is going to be staying with us. Until recently--there was no where for him to sleep! We only had our queen size bed, so he graciously offered to pay for us to get a new king. We tried out new beds last week and it was finally delivered yesterday. I'm anxious to sleep on it, but we don't have any bedding yet! I'm also worried that it isn't as comfortable as our old bed! :( We've got a month to return it..but jeez that would be such a pain. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get used to it. I guess we can always had a foam top or something. We'll see. Anyway. On to the bedding and headboard itself. We decided to go for white. All white. Actually, ivory. I ordered the Olivia Silk Quilt from Pottery Barn through ebay. Can't wait. Also got some plain ivory sheets.

These are the two beds we're considering from Target. The white or the tan? Tan or white? I have no idea. I would love your two cents!

I'm loving these looks as well. I thought I'd wait and get the rest of the bedding once I see everything together. Might add khaki into the mix....
