Daily Dose of Awesome: Framed Blueprints

Okay, here is my brilliant idea. At least, I think it's brilliant. Framed Blueprints. (I think I stole the idea from that reality show Giuliana and Bill.) I'm going with a nautical them: tug boats, luxury liners, speed boats, etc. But you could easily do buildings, stadiums, famous monuments and what not. I'm thinking these will look great in our loft upstairs. With my future plaid sectional. Which I've been meaning to ask you guys, plaid couch...yay? Nay?

Blue Bell Bazaar via here.

One of these is screaming to be on my topography wall. Seriously. Can't you hear them calling my name? Soooooooosaaaaaaaaan! At least that's what I'm going to tell my husband when he looks at the bank statement. :)

Daily Dose of Awesome: Le Poeme Rug

I could die a happy woman with this rug beneath my feet. Actually, roll me up in it when I'm gone. I love it. Is it trendy? Absolutely. Would I get sick of it? Possibly. But I don't care. Perhaps a smaller size would be the best solution...

I need to find a blank wall in my house to do this. Huge vintage clocks. I'm in love.

Daily Dose of Awesome: Wrapping Paper/Maps

Emily at Timeless Paper is brilliant. I've been looking to frame vintage maps for Todd's office for weeks and they all cost an arm an a leg. Enter Paper Source. They have wrapping paper that you can frame and get the same look! Brilliant. I can't wait to do this!

Daily Dose of Awesome

I want this Empire Rocker for my imaginary child sooo bad. I think it would be perfect for my Alice in Wonderland/Mad Hatter nursery I have planned.

And this rocking chair by Sam Durant is so completely awesome to me for some reason. I have no place for it nor would I like to actually have it in my home. But it would be cool if my neighbors put it on their front porch. :)
