And that's about it. The dining room set is a hand me down from my parents. It goes with nothing. The matching buffet--hate it. Chair in the corner? Begging to be reupholstered. But the rug? I love it. It just doesn't work with downstairs. I have plans to move it up to the loft and get an apple green sectional. Or moss green. In the meantime, I close my eyes when I walk by this room. :)

I luuuuuurve that rug! And I'm also pretty fond of your dining set too! But I agree that it doesn't match the rest of your pieces. Do you think chair covers would help?
I thought about it...but those are pretty pricey too. I'd rather just scour craigslist. :)

I actually love your dining set! Of course, I love a bit more modern eclectic look, but I think these are great with the rug you chose. I would love to see the matching buffet. I do agree the chair needs a little help though. :)
