WWYD?

What would you do with this mirror? I'm thinking of painting it white. Should I keep it a mirror or perhaps turn it into a chalkboard? Can a girl have TOO many chalkboards?

I have that mirror!!! part of mine is broken, but you won't be able to tell once it is painted. Mine is actually some sort of resin, not wood. I (since you asked) am going to paint it either creamy white or light grey. And, I may use it outside! Can't wait to see what you decide!

SMiles!

I actually think one can have too many chalk boards. I would leave it a mirror. And it'll look fab painted any color other than faux gold! ;)

I also have that mirror or at least something very similar! But I got it at a yard sale for .50 cents!!! I am going to paint mine pink and put it in my daughters room.
I say you keep it as a mirror and paint it black or white....(the colors I paint everything!)

I am pretty sure it is exactly the same. Let me know when you get it... if it is it won't actually be wood.

Maybe make it an inspiration board - to tack pictures you love on it..you know burlap back and all.

Also, love your blog and was looking at your kitchen pics. I am in love with your flatware caddie you found on ebay. Is that an old piece - how did you find it? I'd love something like it.

If you have a foyer or entryway, what about painting it and then hanging it over a more modern console? I love ornate frames like that paired with more modern tables. I think I would keep it a mirror. But I know whatever you do will be awesome. :-D

Fun mirror...I have one similar in my bathroom, I left it gold. White would be cool depending on the room.
BTW, I got my nesting crates this week and they are adorable! I love them! Now I have to figure out what to do with them....not really enough room in my kitchen I think, so when I redo my laptop desk area in the dining room, they are going to go on the wall in front of the desk, to organize my stuff! :) Thanks again for the fun giveaway!

Hmmmm...i'm the opposite!!! I have WAY too many mirrors in my house. Luv it and the illusion it gives to making a BIGGER room :) It will look great no matter what you decide hun. Have a wonderful weekend.

Now I have read that paint doesn't adhere to mirror, so I've never done it, have you tried it before?

I have that mirror, too! It's one of the first things I ever bought at a fleamarket. I painted mine black half a century ago {seems like} and still love it. It's in my hallway. No matter what you do to it, it's a pretty piece.
