Turned desk. I painted the legs a beige-white color and stained the top. There are lots of imperfections on the top, but meh. I don't really care. It makes the loft look a lot better and it's so nice that I can craft and watch tv at the same time! I'm still thinking about getting that vintage decal for the top....maybe after the spending freeze.

It turned out lovely, I think the contrast is great! I think I have the same table....only mine is painted a white/cream and is my dining table/laptop desk right now! I really want to get a new desk so I can have my table back, LOL! Not that anyone ever sits and eats at it, including me. ;)
