$40 is a bit steep. But it is a unique chair. I would say yes if you can get it for a better price.

Nay, its a cool peice, but way masculine. Anything thats cool about the peice, you'd lose when you recovered it-painted it. Thus, $40 is too much, imho.

Call me crazy...but I LOVE this...I love the way it looks right now...beat and worn with a story to tell...I would love to pile a big stack of books on her and there she would sit!!

Very unique chair, but a lot of work to re-do for $40.00
A bit out of my price range.

I do like it, have a passion for chairs, but 40 bucks love it, nay. That would seriously be like a 2 dollar chair here in KY at an auction and maybe 15 to 20 in a store.

Hmmm...has lots of potential...but $40 seems a bit much.

I would pass. $40 is way too much and it looks like it is in pretty bad shape. You could get so many more things with $40.

So it'sbeen reduced to $35. woo. woo. How much should I pay??

If $35 dollars was sitting on one side of the room and the chair was sitting on the other side of the room, which one would you choose?....

That's what I always ask myself!

Hey!!! Wait a minute...is your spending freeze over? ;)

I loathe it as it is now. If you're skilled enough to put a different seat/back on it to spruce it up, I might love.

(And I like L's way of thinking about it. I think I'd chose the $ when you put it that way. Otherwise I'd have probably chosen the chair.)

Hello Susan - um...I definitely LOVE! What a fabulous chair this is. I like to see something beyond it's chippy-ness. Those legs are cool! Great find. I'd pay $40 for it since it's so unique.

Blessings,
Marie
