Daily Dose of Awesome: Framed Blueprints

Okay, here is my brilliant idea. At least, I think it's brilliant. Framed Blueprints. (I think I stole the idea from that reality show Giuliana and Bill.) I'm going with a nautical them: tug boats, luxury liners, speed boats, etc. But you could easily do buildings, stadiums, famous monuments and what not. I'm thinking these will look great in our loft upstairs. With my future plaid sectional. Which I've been meaning to ask you guys, plaid couch...yay? Nay?

You may have stole it from G&B show.... I say it's ok though, they will never know. BTW that show is one of my new shows I am crushing on lately :) have a great weekend.

Gorgeous! I have always loved the framed blueprint look... It's so neat, but completely elegant. Can't wait to see what you choose and how they look! :)

These are really great. Restoration hardware is now selling similar items for $995 of the brooklyn bridge and the golden gate bridge. I have been trying to find vintage originals for less. Where did you find these?

Oops, just saw your blueprint link above. I have been searching all over the web for buildings and monuments with no luck. Any search ideas? Thanks :)

My friend did this a few years ago with the prints of her newly constructed home. Pretty cool idea, and I love the boats..wouldn't it be sweet to find things like the Eiffel Tower or Big Ben.. that would be sweet!
