Barn House Treasures!

Okay, here's my haul!
Beautiful blue corbels that I have yet to decide where to hang. Maybe in this doorway?
Or in the TV nook? Or maybe upstairs...still not sure.

I've been on the hunt for a toast rack forever--finally got one!

Pillows! Just need to decide which couch they'll go on.

Numbers!

From the Queen of Tarte--these awesome doors from New Orleans!

I'm in LOVE with them. I just need to find some sconces to mount on them.

This great sign!

Oh Boy, what a lot of goodies....I'm fed up with you lot from the U.S !!!...You have such brilliant flea markets ( sorry, I'm not sure what you call them ). Things here in the U.K. are getting a bit scarce...whenever we have been to the U.S. I always pick up a few things but I want MORE !!!Seriously though , well done for finding them and I don't think that you will nhave any trouble finding the right spot for them. Hey! I love your blog! I just discovered it the other day! You got some great finds. I wish there was a place like that in my area. My dream is to find a old rustic door that is the perfect size and look to be a table top in our dining room.
Anyway, about the corbels....just as an idea...we just bought our house and in the foyer there are two corbels that look exactly like that and serve as a shelf holder...they are mounted to the wall, parallel from each other, about two feet apart, one of the flat parts against the wall and the other flat part up...with a glass sheft on top. So the shelf doesn't hide the corbels. Just an idea!

Susan--just read your whole blog. I love your decorating style--you're a girl after my own heart. Only, you're able to attain it, while I just drool over pictures. Your house is beautiful--I'm so jealous. I want a house inspired by pottery barn with wainscotting everywhere too--not the ugly pit we live in and are way too quickly outgrowing.

I still remember backing into a picture at your mom's house and knocking it off the wall during a sleepover and being so afraid I broke it because I had no idea how I'd pay to replace it.

Mason said...

Aubrey! Thanks for the compliment! :) I don't remember knocking over any picture...the things we remember! :)

I'm jealous! I love the sign, and the doors, and, well everything you found. I vote for hanging the corbels in the TV nook. It would add interest to that space.
