You can still see the gray underneath. And I am the worst spray painter EVER. I am too impatient. So there are runs and bubbles. Oops. I think I might need to start the whole thing over. I'm contemplating doing a different color too. A raspberry. And then putting it in the gym with the wallpaper below....if I could find where they sell it! (Thanks for all the suggestions with that btw.) :)

I always think spray paint will be easier, then it ends up being so much more difficult than I thought. Still, with metal though, it seems like it should be sprayed. They are going to be cute!
I do know that painting directly on steel is difficult. Did use a primer first?
I have my own little biz painting furniture...so I feel you pain. For so long I was doing coats and coats to get paint to cover on metal. Go out and get yourself a couple of cans of BIN primer, it comes in a spray and a can. I LOVE THE SPRAY! I use it on metal all the time and it works fantastic! But take your time, dont let it get drips or runs. Just do a light coat and by the time you finish, you can go over it again with another light coat. You will be glad you did. BIN is shellac based, not water or oil so it covers like a charm. Good luck! ~mary~

LOVE! There's an OLD set of lockers my husband has been hiding out in his Man Shop. Can't wait to get my hands on them! Can't wait to see what you do with this!
I painted an old set of lockers from the gym for my son's room and they were great for storing all his sports equipment up and through high school...just passed them on to my nephew...however, primer first then paint...I used Rustoleum spray and didn't really have a problem with too many runs...I think patience is key...which I am not :)in avoiding drips and runs. The wallpaper is lovely...hope you are able to find it!
